In this performance, performed several times during the RijksakademieOpen 2011, I discuss the issue of fear and especially how to deal with it. How to deal with a fear of heights, a fear of death or with the fear of a parent that one of their children might have injured himself. This after telling a personal story from my youth in which my mother reacts indifferent after I tell her I just fell out of a tree.      In the performance I come up with three options to deal with fear, represented by three colorful, geometrical objects. In the end I choose to use option number three. A choice that has dire consequences for my mother.
